"I have been a fan of JJ Grey & Mofro for a long time. I saw him in Connecticut on Aug 27, when he was feeling unwell and couldn't speak properly. To be honest, his performance was not good and he had to change the setlist because he couldn't sing. (I managed to get a set list from the stage after the show.) Fortunately, I also had tickets for the Beacon show, and my faith in him has been restored. The performance of For Everyman was amazing, inspiring Fountain of Sorrows, and magical The Pretender. The presence of David Lindley only enhances the brilliance of Jackson's music. Even the band seemed more enthusiastic with Jackson in top form. It was a fantastic show. It lasted nearly 3 hours (a longer show than ZZ Top with an opening act). This is as good as it gets."
